"Much more an enormous pig than a sort of horse, Hippo lives, as a matter of course," remarks lepidopterist John M. Burns in his book of poetry titled "BioGraffiti: A Natural Selection."

The 39 poems cover evolution, ecology, biology and natural history. In this podcast he reads a selection of his witty and pun-filled poems. Amongst his subjects; the walrus, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, and tortoise.

For the first time, two of this year’s 15 fellows will work at Spanish-language news outlets.
