AAAS and The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries (TWAS), based in Trieste, Italy, are seeking candidates for the AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy to be held in person in Trieste, Italy on 17-21 June 2024. For the fourth consecutive year, applications to attend the course are being invited from participant pairs.

Applications for the course are due 5 February 2024.

AAAS and The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries (TWAS), based in Trieste, Italy, are seeking candidates for the AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy to be held in-person in Trieste, Italy from 19 June to 23 June, 2023. For the third consecutive year, applications to attend the course are being invited from ‘participant pairs.’

Applications for the course are due March 5. 

AAAS and The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries (TWAS), based in Trieste, Italy, are seeking candidates for the AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy to be held online from 25 July to 3 August 2022. The workshop will be held virtually. For the second consecutive year, applications to attend the course are being invited from ‘participant pairs.’

The submissions period ended on April 20. 

AAAS and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) are seeking candidates to participate in the AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy to be held online from August 30 to September 3, 2021. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2021. 

For the first time, applications will be accepted from participant pairs, formed by a young scientists and a person from the policymaking arena. 

AAAS and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Summer Course on Science Diplomacy--originally planned from July 10th to the 13th--has been rescheduled from September 21st to the 24th. It will be held in a virtual format, with no footprint in Trieste, Italy.
