Scientific community/Science policy/Technology policy

AAAS, in partnership with EducationCounsel, has released new and updated resources for higher education institutions to guide them as they seek to boost diversity and equity in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) while adhering to standards in a shifting and challenging legal landscape.

Some of the nation’s top experts and decision-makers on public policy matters impacting the science, engineering, and academic communities convened for the 46th Annual AAAS Science & Technology Policy Forum in October.

For 46 years, the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Forum has been the premier space to address challenges at the intersection of science and policy and their implications for society.

The AAAS Annual Meeting 2019 teemed with news, learning and sharing – as well as Science & Technology Policy Fellows. Thousands of scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers and journalists from around the world convened in Washington on February 14-17 around the theme of “Science Transcending Boundaries.”
