2022 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Highlights from AAAS

 

Learn about highlights from AAAS' efforts to facilitate systemic change in 2022, including:

  • New SEA Change members committed to transform cultures and policies to support DEI in STEMM, including the first university system to join the program.
  • The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program celebrated its 20th anniversary of supporting talented STEM majors and professionals in becoming K-12 educators in high-need school districts.
  • The EPI Center supported systemic DEI changes at the policy level.
  • The Science family of journals put in place structural changes with a DEI lens in mind.
  • AAAS used a systemic- and equity-focused lens to hold ourselves accountable.
