AAAS Council Meeting
In compliance with AAAS bylaws, the AAAS Council meets a minimum of once annually, generally in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. The Council meeting is open to all members, and although only elected Council members may make comments and vote, any AAAS member may attend as an observer.
In 2017, an unusually robust agenda has led to the need to establish two meetings. The first meeting will be held remotely (via the web) on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. EST. An agenda is pasted below, and remote log-on information will be available shortly. Any AAAS member is welcome to log on and view this meeting as an observer.
The second meeting will be held, as usual, in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. It will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST in the Sheraton Boston Hotel, Constitution Ballroom. Any AAAS member is welcome to attend as an observer. An agenda will be available in the AAAS Meetings headquarters office, as well as at the meeting itself.
