Science Communication and Engagement with Religious Audiences
This AAAS-hosted workshop is part of the Engaging Scientists project and will aid neuroscientists in becoming science ambassadors and communicators by offering tools and strategies for constructive engagement with diverse (and largely religious) public audiences. The format will be presentations interspersed with discussion, self-reflection, group work, and exercises for conveying scientific concepts with clarity and sensitivity. Applications to participants' current and future work will be discussed. Light breakfast provided. Free to SfN meeting attendees but space is limited and registration is required.
