Rob Horsch, deputy director for research and development at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will deliver the 2012 Riley Lecture.
The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion with Catherine Woteki, under secretary for research, education, and economics, U.S. Department of Agriculture; Steven G. Pueppke, director of Michigan State University's AgBioResearch; and Iowa Department of Agriculture Secretary Bill Northey.
