2019 Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering Workshop

1143 New Hampshire Avenue NW, Washington, DC
2019 CASE Workshop

The AAAS Office of Government Relations’ sixth annual Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) workshop takes place March 24-27 in Washington DC. The CASE workshop presents an exciting opportunity for upperclassmen and graduate students in science, mathematics, and engineering disciplines to learn about science policy, science communication and advocacy.

Students will spend several days learning about the structure and organization of Congress, the federal budget and appropriations process, and tools for effective science communication and civic engagement, and then spend the last day of the workshop conducting visits with Members of Congress and congressional staff on Capitol Hill.

The agenda for this year’s workshop is available here. Follow #MakingOurCASE on Twitter.
