This networking event is for AAAS members wanting to make personal and professional connections in their local community both inside and outside their own disciplines. Over the course of this year AAAS will be launching a series of these local events in cities around the world.
Our special guest speaker for this Melbourne event is AAAS Fellow Bruce Kemp, a biochemist at St. Vincent's Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne. Kemp is recognized internationally for his contribution to understanding protein kinases at the molecular level and their roles in cellular signalling. He will open the evening event, giving a short lecture on the latest research in his field.
Following the lecture, we will be holding a cocktail reception, giving you the opportunity to network with the speaker and other attendees.
Join us, and your AAAS colleagues from the Melbourne area, for a night of stimulating science and great conversation.
