AAAS Local: San Francisco/Bay Area

, ,

This networking event is for AAAS members in the Bay Area wanting to make personal and professional connections in their local community both inside and outside their own disciplines. Over the course of this year AAAS will be launching a series of these local events in cities around the world.

Our special guest speakers for this San Francisco/Bay Area event are AAAS member Ed Chi, a computer scientist at Google doing research on crowdsourcing, and AAAS Fellow Robert Full, a biologist at UC-Berkeley whose interests resides in the area of comparative biomechanics and physiology. They will open the evening event, giving short lectures on the latest research in their fields.

Following the lectures, we will be holding a cocktail reception, giving you the opportunity to network with the speakers and other attendees.

Join us, and your AAAS colleagues from the Bay Area, for a night of stimulating science and great conversation!
