AAAS Marion Milligan Mason Award Ceremony

1200 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC

AAAS Marion Milligan Mason Award for Women in the Chemical Sciences aims at kick-starting the research career of promising future senior investigators in the chemical sciences. The Marion Milligan Mason Fund provides grants of $50,000 every other year to women researchers engaged in basic research in the chemical sciences.

Awards are for women who are starting their academic research careers. In addition to research funding, the program will provide leadership development and mentoring opportunities.

In 2015, AAAS selected four outstanding recipients who will be officially announced  during the Award Ceremony and receive their awards. The recipients will be also invited to speak about their career path in the chemical sciences.
