On July 21, 2021, AAAS hosted a virtual screening of, “A Peace of Science: Diplomacy with North Korea,” a short documentary highlighting science diplomacy efforts with North Korea. The documentary, produced by the Global Co Lab Network focuses on how science can build bridges between societies where official relationships are strained.

After the screening, organizers showed a short video of Dr. Norman Neureiter, first Science and Technology Adviser to the Secretary of State and senior advisor to the AAAS Center for Science Diplomacy discussing science diplomacy efforts with North Korea.
Dr. Kim Montgomery, director of International Affairs and Science Diplomacy at AAAS moderated a brief Q&A with interviewees from the documentary: Dr. Peter Agre, Nobel Prize Laureate, Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute, past President of AAAS; Dr. James Hammond, Mt.
