Science Events Summit website
The inaugural Science Events Summit takes place from Monday, June 4, through Tuesday, June 5, with additional before and after events, in St. Petersburg, FL. The event is a continuation of the International Public Science Events Conference (IPSEC) which has convened multiple times since 2011.
The event brings together public science event organizers, evaluators, collaborators, and sponsors. Stacey Baker, from the AAAS Center for Public Engagement with Science and Technology, will participate in the Watching for Longer Waves panel on Tuesday, June 5, from 2:15 - 3:15 p.m.The panel will discuss adapting to change and consider emerging trends in public engagement events.
