SCS 2017 Fellowship Webinar

A core strategy for Second Century Stewardship: Science for America’s National Parks is advancing conservation and ecosystem science and providing information to support stewardship of park resources through a high profile, competitive research fellowship program for graduate students, postdocs, or early career scientists.

The Second Century Stewardship Research Fellowships will include professional learning opportunities, including mentorship, training in science communication, and interaction with educators and resource managers. Through their research and these interactions, the fellows will contribute to strengthening public understanding of the importance of parks for science and science for parks and society.

The partners plan to award three fellowships per year and are currently seeking proposals for research in Acadia National Park.

An overview of Second Century Stewardship, the Research Fellowship, the application process, and park research priorities will be held on Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. EDT. We strongly recommend that you attend the webinar.

The webinar will be recorded and available here for those unable to attend.
