First Virtual Public Engagement with Science Discussion Group: Facilitating Engagement with Policymakers
Interested in connecting with others in the public engagement with science community? Join us for the first virtual discussion group meeting on Friday, July 20 from 12:00 – 1:00pm ET organized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the National Academy of Sciences. The first meeting, conducted via Zoom, will include a moderated discussion about facilitating scientists’ engagement with policymakers, especially how researchers and practitioners of public engagement are working together on this, followed by a discussion of future topics and leaders for the group. We hope you’ll join us and share your thoughts!
