AAAS and The Lemelson Foundation announce the 2017 – 2018 Class of Invention Ambassadors

First piloted in 2013, The AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors Program has built a community of Invention Ambassadors who are empowered to discuss the importance of invention in bettering our quality of life and building strong economies.  Prior to the newly selected class there have been three cohorts and 24 Ambassadors selected that meet the program’s’ vision to “showcase the human face of inventors in order to inspire, inform and influence thought leaders and global community.”

Today we announce the 2017 - 2018 Class of Invention Ambassadors who will:

Inspire a new and diverse generation of inventors dedicated to solving difficult global challenges

Inform on the components needed to create inventions that sustainably solve global problems

Influence policymakers, thought leaders and the public
