Exhibitors and Show Schedule Announced for 2015 Family Science Days

The exhibitors and show schedule for 2015's Family Science Days has been announced on the Family Science Days homepage! Family Science Days exhibitors will bring hands-on science activites to engage Bay Area families and students on 14-15 February from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. In addition, the Family Science Days stage will feature a new show or Meet the Scientist! speaker every half-hour. Family Science Days is a free community science showcase that takes place at the AAAS Annual Meeting, and features a broad range of educators and scientists engaging the public in current science topics. Such topics at the 2015 Family Science Days will include:

  • stem cell research,
  • internet privacy,
  • climate change,
  • nanotechnology,
  • synthetic biology,
  • and more!

By showcasing activities created or inspired by scientists, Family Science Days attendees will be invited to think about how science impacts their daily lives and to talk with the presenting scientists and educators about all fields of science from astronomy to zoology.

Family Science Days is presented by AAAS in partnership with the Bay Area Science Festival.
