Going to the AAAS Annual Meeting? Here’s Where to Find Everything Science Policy

SPTF and STPF fellows will be involved with multiple sessions

Thousands of scientists, journalists and policymakers will gather again for the flagship Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS); this year’s theme is “Envisioning Tomorrow’s Earth.” The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) program and many STPF current and alumni fellows will be present and presenting en force at the meeting to be held in Seattle on February 13-16.

In addition to the sessions and events below that are hosted by STPF, STPF fellows will be presenting at or organizing many other sessions at the meeting. Find them all in this year’s STPF Guide to the Annual Meeting.

So You Want to Be an S&T Policy Fellow? Conversations with Current and Alumni Fellows

Ever wonder what it takes to be an S&T Policy Fellow and what they do? Join this conversation to discuss what makes a compelling application and how to be prepared for the next application season. The session will focus on the nuts and bolts of eligibility, application components, interview process, and review criteria.
