Select two program areas. Read up on fellowship placements in the executive, legislative and judicial branch of the federal government. We encourage applicants not to limit themselves and to apply to two program areas.
Ask references for a recommendation letter. Remember that your references need time to write the prefect letter. Let them know to which program areas you are applying and share resources with them about the fellowship for context.
Enlist a good proofreader. Be sure your materials are error-free and reflect your best self.
