Christine A. Scheller


Christine A. Scheller directs communications for the DoSER program and administers the "Bringing Forefront Science to Religion Reporters" project. An award-winning journalist, Christine has specialized in reporting on intersections of religion and public life for a variety of national and local media outlets including The Huffington Post, Jersey Shore Patch, Slate, Christianity Today, Urban Faith, The High Calling, and On Faith. She graduated summa cum laude in journalism and media studies from the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information and is a member of the Religion News Association and the American Copy Editors Society. Her essays have been featured in anthologies like "Suffering Redeemed: Stories of Grace in the Midst of Personal Tragedy" and she has made editorial contributions to numerous books, including "As They Saw It: A Half-Century of Conversations from The Open Mind." Christine is working on an MFA in Visual Narrative at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
