Joseph Hardcastle is a research associate at Project 2061 and works on its assessment research and curriculum development efforts. He holds a B.S. in physics from James Madison University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in physics from Boston University. Hardcastle has held several research assistantships in biophysics and STEM education. His STEM education efforts span a range of levels and interventions, from developing K-12 assessments to improving graduate student teaching through the use of graduate students mentors.
