Natalie Sutton is Project Manager for the STEMM Opportunity Alliance (SOA), which aims to build a STEMM ecosystem rooted in equity, inclusion, and scientific excellence to power progress, innovation, and prosperity for all by 2050. 

Prior to joining AAAS, Natalie was an Outreach and Equity Program Specialist at the Society for Science where she worked on managing grants and programs for teachers and non-profits working to empower traditionally underrepresented demographics in their STEM journey.  She also worked in the Department of Education and Volunteer Services at Friends of the National Zoo and helped to develop a reinvigorated teen volunteer program which aimed to diversify the pipeline of future leaders in conservation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary. 

Outside of her work at AAAS, Natalie is passionate about wildlife, conservation, and getting people out into nature. She serves as a Chief Election Officer in the City of Alexandria.
