Nicolle Rutledge is the Interim Project and Center Administrator for the Center of Science, Policy and Society Programs (CSPSP) at AAAS. She provides support for meetings and events for the Center and its programs, which includes organizing logistics and program development, managing registration and working with speakers and participants on their travel and other requests. In addition, she maintains the Center's webpage and supports its social media, event promotion and marketing efforts. In the interim, she creates and evaluates requests for proposals, maintains contracts and catering accounts, and is responsible for the management and financial affairs of CSPSP. She also serves as the liaison to Finance and outside organizations.
In her previous role as Project Coordinator, Nicolle maintained the day-to-day activity flow of active commercial projects for a small contracting company in the DMV area. Prior to this, she managed events and conferences for the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Florida. This included its Grand Rounds Resident Lecture Series, Quality Assurance conferences, department meetings and faculty events, while handling all of the logistics and communications. Lastly, she coordinated the surgical and primary care schedules for medical students each semester.
Nicolle holds a master’s degree in communication from Lasell College and a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of South Florida. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in public health, with an interest in public health policy and health promotion.
