Nicolle Rutledge is the manger of programs operations and administration in the Office of Science, Policy and Society Programs (OSPSP) at AAAS. In this role, she provides direction and coordination in the strategic planning, development, and implementation of OSPSP's annual activities, serves as a principal point of collaboration, leadership, and expertise to both internal and external constituencies on professional and operational matters pertaining to program events and facilitates program outreach, including developing core messaging based on strategic direction of Chief Programs Officer, and supports programs in broader communication and marketing goals. Nicolle has been with AAAS since 2015 and previously provided support for meetings and events, which included organizing logistics and program development, and managing registration. In addition, she supported social media, event promotion and marketing efforts for various programs. She created and evaluated requests for proposals, maintained contracts and vendor relationships, and monitored the overall expenditures for fiscal and program accountability.
Nicolle holds a master’s degree in communication from Lasell College and a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of South Florida. She is currently writing her dissertation to complete her doctorate in public health, with interests in public health program implementation and evaluation, and health promotion.
