Each year, the AAAS Center for Public Engagement with Science & Technology hosts a Communicating Science Seminar at the AAAS Annual Meeting. The seminar provides a forum for learning and exchanging actionable best practices and research on scientists and engineers engaging with public audiences about scientific and technological issues.

The 2021 Communicating Science Seminar will be held virtually on Friday, February 5, the week prior to the main AAAS Annual Meeting. Attendance at the seminar is free but requires registration through the AAAS Annual Meeting registration system. The seminar will include two online panels followed by breakout sessions (submit a breakout session proposal here, until November 9). See the 2021 seminar page for more information.

The Center also offers science communications workshops for organizations and institutions. Learn more about hosting a workshop.
