The Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion is happy to have joined with thousands of scientists, engineers, policy makers, educators, and journalists at the 2013 AAAS Annual Meeting, held in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference as a whole centered around the idea of “The Benefits and Beauty of Science” including, as always, a diverse range of disciplines, lectures, and discussions. DoSER was particularly proud to have presented three stimulating and engaging symposia on important issues at the intersection of science and religion:
- Partners for the Earth: Scientists and Religious Groups Working for the Environment
- Synthetic Biology and Public Perceptions: Communication and Engagement
- Advances in Brain-Machine Interfaces: Applications and Implications
