UMBC STEM Scholars Engaged in Religious & Spiritual Self-Exploration
This will be an event with current UMBC [University of Maryland, Baltimore County] undergraduate and graduate students who are engaged in their own independent research project and have self-identified as religious and/or spiritual. This half-day facilitated dialogue will include guided discussions on the values of the scholars engaging their spirituality and religious experiences in their research. The event will end with a guided art project that will send the participants forth inspired to bring their whole selves to their work as scientists and researchers.
