Adriana Delagarza

Bio

I'm a proud Mexicana from San Antonio, Texas, and I'll be an undergraduate sophomore this fall at Columbia University in New York, where I plan to major in Mechanical Engineering and, hopefully, minor in English. I'm currently involved in the Columbia Undergraduate Science Journal, where I read through and edit submissions to our editorial journal, Columbia Scientist. I also work with Erin Louwagie, M.S., in the Myers Soft Tissue Lab, where I help to characterize the shapes of cervices from 2D ultrasound images. I especially love to write about topics related to environmentalism and climate change, so I'm extremely thankful to be working with StateImpact Pennsylvania this summer! In my free time, I love to watch The Bachelor with my friends and listen to anything by The Strokes, CNCO, or Brooks and Dunn.
