Jennifer DeMoss

I am an Anthropology and Integrative Conservation PhD student at the University of Georgia, wrapping up my dissertation research on human-nature relationships within a wilderness education movement called the Nature Connection Movement. I have gained quite a lot of love for the outdoors since beginning this project, and you can often find me birdwatching, tracking animals, meditating under maple and oak trees, or up to my ankles in poison ivy when I'm not working on graduating. However, as a person who started her first (still unfinished) novel at age 8, I love to write, and I'm so excited to be part of the Mass Media Fellowship Program.
