Bio
I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida where I received a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Computer Science. I wrote my senior thesis on the impact of curation algorithms on social networks and First Amendment jurisprudence. I first started writing about science at my university newspaper, The Independent Florida Alligator, and immediately loved it. In my reporting, I want to write citizen-centered articles that inform the public about the social and political implications of various digital technologies. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and playing bass guitar. I'm excited to join the amazing team at The Raleigh News & Observer this summer!
