Bio
I am a recent graduate of Brown University, where I concentrated in computer science and cognitive science. I have always dreamed of becoming a writer, and my love for STEM is encouraged by my undergraduate work and professional engineering experience. At Brown, I sought opportunities at the intersection of science and storytelling. I covered science news for The Brown Daily Herald, did research in social decision making and computational cognition, and worked as a teaching assistant across three departments. Last year, I continued exploring science journalism as a ProPublica Diversity Scholar and the Asian American Journalists Association and Microsoft Data Visualization Fellow. My favorite hobbies are painting, hiking, and playing chess. In my reporting, I want to inspire curiosity in local readers. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to join the Idaho Statesman this summer!
