Communicating about science, technology, and human rights: Reaching your audiences

January 2015 Coalition Meeting Workshop

Thursday, January 16, 2015

2:00-3:30 pm

During this highly interactive workshop, participants will develop strategies to effectively inform their organizations about the Coalition’s many resources and, more generally, about the intersection of science and human rights.

Organized by the Coalition’s Service to the STEM Community Working Group, this workshop is open to representatives of Coalition member organizations, as well as communications staff and others from member organizations.

After completing the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Utilize a simple communications framework to target messages about science, technology, and human rights to specific audiences
  • Use the Coalition’s resources - including the website, newsletter, and other products - to effectively inform their membership about the Coalition.

Registration for this reservation-only workshop will close on January 3, 2015. Space is limited! Please register for the session when you register for the January 2015 Science and Human Rights Coalition Meeting.
