AAAS Science and Human Rights Coalition Student Competitions

The AAAS Science and Human Rights Coalition held yearly competitions (currently on hiatus) for students to showcase their work at the intersection of science and human rights. These included: an essay competition open to both undergraduate and graduate students; poster competitions at Coalition semi-annual meetings; and a digital media competition, intended to discover and recognize quality digital media projects, such as videos, podcasts, webinars, apps, and more, that highlight the intersections between science and human rights. Explore the winning entries from past competitions below.

The AAAS Science and Human Rights Coalition Student Competitions are made possible by the AAAS-Andrew M. Sessler Fund for Science, Education, and Human Rights.
