Teacher-Scientist Partnership Meeting / February 18, 2018 / AAAS Annual Meeting / Austin, TX

AAAS will convene a one-day meeting at the Hilton Austin for organizers, participants, and funders of educational programs that partner scientists with teachers and students.  Participants will learn about successful programs and productive strategies for recruiting and training scientists and teachers; building relationships; evaluating programs; and funding.  Panels, lightning talks, knowledge circles, and other networking opportunities will engage all participants. Meeting organizers include AAAS; the Center for Educational Outreach at Baylor College of Medicine; and the Science and Health Education Partnership at the University of California San Francisco.
