Resources

This page provides information for individuals and organizations seeking to place STEM professionals into classrooms or that already have programs underway.  If you would like to share some of your resources, please contact bcalinge@aaas.org.

AAAS STEM Volunteer Handbook

This handbook is distributed to all volunteers and discussed at the orientations that are held in September.  The content has been reviewed by volunteers, teachers, and school staff and is updated regularly.

A Climate Change Resource for K-12 STEM Teachers

Members of the AAAS STEM Volunteer Program have prepared this resource.  We encourage educators to read, discuss, share, and use the information in their classrooms.  Possible uses could include:  constructing climate change problems, placing green school activities in the context of climate change, providing the information to IB and AP high school courses, or just adding to your own knowledge about this very important topic.
